Duties

• Represent clients in family law cases, including custody, divorce, and support matters.
• Conduct trials, hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Research and analyze complex legal issues in family and civil law.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest level of service for clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law or 7+ years in civil litigation, including trial experience.
• Strong written, analytical, and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in assessing case strengths and weaknesses, and familiarity with relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Emotional intelligence and patience when engaging with clients and opposing parties.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
