Job Title: Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney

Job Location: Hobe Sound, FL

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is actively seeking a talented Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join its dynamic legal team in Florida. This position offers the opportunity to handle a diverse range of complex legal matters in insurance coverage law, representing clients in various litigation settings.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal analysis and review claims and causes of action

  • Perform extensive legal research and draft briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate documents

  • Represent clients in court, at depositions, and during arbitrations

  • Draft and respond to discovery requests

  • Collaborate with expert witnesses

  • Prepare for and attend trials

  • Maintain a billable hour requirement of 1950 hours annually

  • Some travel may be required

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in insurance coverage law (preferred)

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school

  • Admission to practice law in Florida (additional state admissions are a plus)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and writing skills

  • Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written

  • Ability to self-manage, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team

  • Must respond promptly to email and phone inquiries

  • Strong client-facing skills and professional telephone manner

Education:

  • J.D. from an ABA-approved law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in Florida (preferred)

  • Additional state certifications are a plus
