A law firm seeks a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join its team in Atlanta, GA. This position is ideal for an attorney with a robust background in litigation, ready to contribute to a firm committed to community engagement and delivering exceptional legal services to clients, including financial institutions.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in various litigation matters, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated in court.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and advise clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive case plans and strategies.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations, presenting cases on behalf of clients.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them informed about case developments and strategies.
  • Stay current on legal trends and developments to provide informed and strategic legal advice.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the Georgia State Bar is required.
  • Additional Bar licenses in other states are a plus.
  • Proven experience in litigation, with a demonstrated ability to handle a variety of cases.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must hold an active membership in the Georgia State Bar.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective advocacy and client interaction.
  • Excellent analytical and research abilities to navigate complex legal issues.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents and presenting cases in court.
