A law firm in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Transactional Attorney to handle a diverse range of commercial, corporate, and real estate matters, with a strong emphasis on commercial and corporate transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating documents, providing strategic legal advice, and managing complex transactions. Candidates should be licensed to practice law in Florida, have a portable book of business, and be adept at navigating corporate governance and regulatory issues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle a broad spectrum of commercial, corporate, and real estate matters, focusing on commercial and corporate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate documents related to general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial and residential real estate transactions.
  • Provide legal advice on corporate governance, policies, procedures, finances, intellectual property, operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Guide clients towards best practices in corporate law and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze legal risks and rights associated with various company structures and make recommendations regarding corporations, joint ventures, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies.
  • Manage complex transactions and ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida in accordance with the Florida Bar Association.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling commercial, corporate, and real estate transactions.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents.
  • Portable book of business is required.

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex legal documents and transactions.
  • Excellent analytical skills for assessing legal risks and providing strategic recommendations.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial and real estate law.
