Duties:

  • Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload that includes litigation and transactional work across multiple areas of law, including personal injury, real estate, business law, criminal law, family law, estate planning, and sports & entertainment.
  • Legal Drafting: Prepare and draft various legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal correspondence.
  • Court Appearances: Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and motions, while advocating effectively on their behalf.
  • Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to understand their needs, provide legal advice, and ensure their matters are handled efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the firm’s managing attorney and other legal staff, contributing to case strategies and overall team success.
  • Future Growth: Take on additional responsibilities over time, with opportunities for increased compensation, bonuses, and career advancement.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation and transactional law across one or more of the following areas: personal injury, property damage, real estate law, business law, criminal law, family law, estate planning, and sports & entertainment.
  • Skills: Strong legal writing skills, including experience drafting contracts, discovery, pleadings, and motions.
  • Courtroom Experience: Comfort and experience with court appearances, including advocating for clients in hearings and motions.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior attorneys.
  • Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Skills:

  • Litigation: Expertise in representing clients in court, including personal injury and property damage cases.
  • Transactional Law: Experience drafting and reviewing contracts, business agreements, and real estate transactions.
  • Legal Writing: Strong skills in drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
  • Client-Focused: Ability to manage client relationships and provide effective legal guidance.
  • Team Collaboration: Able to work well in a family-oriented, team-driven environment.
