Duties:

• Advise private equity firms and their portfolio companies on a variety of complex transactions.
• Handle mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and equity investments.
• Provide legal counsel on general corporate matters.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide solutions to complex legal issues.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, offering strategic and practical legal advice.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant private equity experience.
• Proven experience in handling mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, and leveraged buyouts.
• Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm or the SEC is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
