The attorney will work closely with leadership to develop strategies that integrate innovative technologies into practice workflows, with a focus on efficiency and enhanced service delivery. The role will be based in either New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, or Menlo Park with the option for hybrid work arrangements.

  • Provide regular updates on new technologies to management and practice group leadership.

  • Identify and assess opportunities to integrate new technologies into legal practices and coordinate pilot and proof of concept programs.

  • Work with the Technology & Information Services Department to recommend efficient processes, software tools, and other technology-assisted solutions.

  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and foster strong relationships to stay informed about new products and services.

  • Maintain and protect confidential and sensitive information, ensuring compliance with firm policies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a practicing attorney or in a legal operations role, preferably with litigation experience.

  • Strong understanding of product development and management, including scoping, requirements documentation, and user testing.

  • Proficiency in enterprise applications such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.

  • Knowledge of LegalTech product categories and their integration into legal practices.

  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent degree.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the relevant state bar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in product development and management.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Experience in evaluating and deploying technology solutions in a legal environment.

  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Benefits:

  • Performance-based bonuses.

  • Comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, life, and disability insurance.

  • Generous 401k plan.

  • At least 11 paid holidays per year and 23 days of PTO in the first year, with accrual increasing with tenure.

  • Well-being programs, including mental health services and mindfulness resources.

  • Professional development opportunities.

  • Employee discounts.

  • Affinity groups, networks, and coalitions for lawyers and staff.

Boasting a large presence in the corporate and litigation arenas, exceptional training programs, and an innovative partner assessment program, the firm is a major hit with associates. At this firm, associates learn exactly what it means to practice law--and have a breadth of appreciation for all elements of large full-service practice. In their posh DC offices, the environment is professional and polished.
