Job Overview

A leading law firm is seeking a skilled Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong M&A transaction experience, including document drafting, deal management, and client relationship handling. The ideal candidate will be able to manage day-to-day operations, supervise junior associates, and advise clients on a variety of sophisticated M&A matters.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate definitive and ancillary documents for M&A transactions.
  • Manage deal processes, including overseeing client relationships.
  • Supervise junior associates and manage workflow on M&A matters.
  • Advise clients on M&A-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Handle day-to-day operations and demands related to M&A transactions.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in M&A law, with a proven track record in managing transactions.
  • Strong understanding of M&A transaction structures, including due diligence and post-closing matters.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating M&A agreements and ancillary documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • High academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar (California preferred).

Skills

  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating M&A transaction documents.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Effective team leadership and junior associate supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
