Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation matters, particularly before the U.S. Tax Court and related forums.
• Manage discovery processes, including documentation and production.
• Advise clients on trust and estate administration and related tax planning.
• Draft and analyze complex legal documents with precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client success.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, with a preference for cases involving tax or estate-related disputes.
• Familiarity with discovery management and document production processes.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated analytical and research skills.
• Admitted to the Illinois Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.

Skills:

• Expertise in tax law and estate planning is highly desirable.
• Attention to detail and a meticulous work ethic.
• Ability to handle complex litigation and provide strategic legal counsel.
