A law firm in White Plains, NY, seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to handle a variety of employment-related legal matters. The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases independently, provide strategic advice, and ensure compliance with employment laws.

Job Details:

  • Manage employment litigation cases in federal and state courts, including proceedings before the EEOC and NYSDHR.
  • Develop litigation strategy, draft pleadings, and conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
  • Argue motions and participate in hearings and trials as necessary.
  • Provide proactive advice and counsel to clients on workplace compliance issues and legal developments.
  • Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, and provide analysis on complex employment law issues.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the New York State Bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in employment law, with significant litigation experience.
  • Proven track record of handling employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative legal strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
