Job Details:

  • Execute estate planning and administration functions, including preparing trust agreements, and wills, and handling probate proceedings.
  • Administer trusts and prepare estate tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Handle elder law matters, including Medicaid planning and guardianships.
  • Possesses estate litigation experience, with the ability to navigate legal challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate effectively in a client-focused, team-oriented environment to achieve collective success.
  • Demonstrate excellent academic credentials and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Produce high-quality work with minimal supervision, showcasing attention to detail and precision.
  • Hold admission to the New York Bar; admission to the New Jersey Bar is strongly preferred.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning and administration.
  • Experience in handling trust agreements, wills, probate proceedings, estate tax returns, and elder law matters.
  • Admission to the New York Bar; admission to the New Jersey Bar is strongly preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York Bar; admission to the New Jersey Bar is strongly preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
