Job Overview:

A prominent law firm in Los Angeles seeks a highly skilled Plaintiff’s Employment Law Attorney to join their growing team. The firm specializes in wrongful termination cases and provides a supportive, dynamic environment for attorneys to advance their careers. This position requires a self-driven attorney with significant litigation experience, strong writing abilities, and the capacity to independently manage complex cases while collaborating with colleagues.

Duties:

• Independently handle all aspects of wrongful termination and employment law cases, from start to finish.
• Work closely with a team of attorneys and support staff to strategize and execute legal plans.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on various employment law issues.
• Maintain a high level of client communication, providing updates and answering queries.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and explore creative resolutions for clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on legal writing.
• Ability to independently manage cases, while also working effectively within a team.
• Exceptional research and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated experience handling complex cases in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Valid California Bar License (Required).
