Location:

Duties:

  • Represent injured workers in legal proceedings
  • Meet with clients to discuss and assess cases
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other paperwork
  • Attend depositions and represent clients in litigation
  • Manage a full caseload effectively and efficiently
  • Litigate matters before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and State Superior Court
  • Maintain client relationships and provide legal guidance
  • Work with support staff to ensure case progress

Requirements:

  • Good standing with the California State Bar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with case management systems and other legal software
  • Strong interest in advocating for injured workers
  • Ability to handle complex cases with patience and creativity
  • A consistent, hardworking, and proactive attitude
  • Experience in Workers' Compensation law is a plus, but training will be provided

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • California State Bar License (Required)
