Duties:

• Handle employment litigation defense, including single-plaintiff lawsuits and administrative matters
• Collaborate with clients on legal strategy and case management
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, and other legal proceedings
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and manage case files
• Engage in discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
• Provide clients with counsel on legal risks and recommendations
• Stay updated on evolving employment laws and regulations

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on employment law
• Active Bar admission in New York and/or New Jersey
• Proficient in both state and federal court procedures, as well as employment-related agency matters
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission in the relevant state(s), preferably New York or New Jersey

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Strong litigation and courtroom experience
• Proficient in strategic thinking and legal risk assessment
