The ideal candidate will be a member in good standing of the South Carolina Bar and have experience managing residential and commercial real estate transactions. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, lenders, and real estate professionals in facilitating real estate closings while contributing to the firm’s growth and development.

Duties

  • Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances.
  • Review title documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate seamless real estate transactions.
  • Draft and/or review loan documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Provide professional, client-focused service, addressing any questions or concerns throughout the transaction process.
  • Review disbursement ledgers and sign checks for transactions.
  • Develop and cultivate business relationships to support the firm’s growth.
  • Conduct training sessions for potential clients on relevant aspects of real estate law.

Requirements

  • Experience in residential real estate transactions preferred, though training is available for the right candidate.
  • Active member of the South Carolina State Bar in good standing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

Education
