Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and construction defect cases from inception to resolution.
• Draft and review legal pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct legal research to support case development.
• Take and attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Participate in site inspections and trial preparation.
• Attend and actively contribute during trials.
• Collaborate closely with senior partners, receiving direct guidance and support on cases.

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
• 1-3 years of experience in Civil Litigation, with a preference for candidates with insurance defense or construction defect experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision and work effectively within a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in handling litigation matters, including depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Ability to think critically and problem-solve effectively.
• Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
