Job Overview: Seeking a top-tier law firm seeking a talented junior- to mid-level Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in employment litigation, including handling matters related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour class actions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated attorney to work with a prestigious labor and employment group that advises employers ranging from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups across various industries.

Duties:

  • Represent employers in employment litigation cases, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.
  • Handle wage and hour class and collective actions, as well as PAGA actions.
  • Conduct complex fact investigations and analyses.
  • Draft, research, and argue motions in court.
  • Take and defend depositions in employment litigation matters.
  • Provide counsel and advice on employment-related legal issues to clients, including compliance with state and federal employment laws.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in employment litigation, specifically in harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour class actions.
  • Strong litigation skills, including research, writing, and courtroom advocacy.
  • Experience in conducting fact investigations, drafting legal motions, and defending depositions.
  • High academic achievement from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to and in good standing with the California State Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active California State Bar License (required).

Skills:

  • Expertise in employment litigation, including handling discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $225,000 - $370,000 per year, based on experience.
