Duties

  • Coordinate with examiners, stakeholders, and legal professionals to navigate patent office procedures

  • Support post-grant proceedings and standards-related patent activities as needed

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and their IP Implications

  • Provide strategic insight to internal teams and clients regarding IP opportunities and challenges

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution

  • Demonstrated experience with technologies such as wireless communications, AI, computer networks, software, or memory systems

  • Deep understanding of patent lifecycle and regulatory nuances of the USPTO

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for legal purposes

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment

Education

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field

Certifications

  • Must be registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
