Job Title: Litigation Counsel
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid remote option available)

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Denver is seeking an experienced Litigation Counsel to lead and manage complex litigation cases. This role requires a self-motivated attorney with strong expertise in civil litigation, especially in insurance subrogation matters. The firm handles cases in Colorado state and federal courts, covering a broad range of topics including construction defects, product liability, tort claims, and auto/trucking litigation. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling cases with minimal supervision and possess excellent advocacy and legal writing skills.

Duties:

• Independently manage civil litigation cases from start to finish, including the discovery process
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and compliance
• Represent clients in court, negotiating settlements, and presenting strong arguments
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support litigation strategies
• Work closely with legal staff to ensure case files are organized and updated
• Assist in the development of strategies for litigation and dispute resolution

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado
• Minimum 4 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on insurance subrogation and related fields
• Strong experience in civil discovery, depositions, and managing litigation through all stages
• Trial experience is highly preferred
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility and a commitment to maintaining a work/life balance

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Colorado Bar License
