The ideal candidate will possess strong trial experience and the ability to handle a wide range of general liability cases, including those related to catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and commercial disputes. Duties:

• Manage all aspects of litigation cases from initial pleadings through to trial.
• Draft responsive pleadings and legal motions.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Conduct comprehensive medical record reviews and prepare summaries.
• Take depositions from plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts.
• Attend court hearings and argue motions.
• Prepare case status reports for insurance carriers.
• Assist in trial preparation and ensure all trial documents are in order.

Requirements:

• Active California State Bar License.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
• Ability to manage cases independently while working under the supervision of a firm partner.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proven experience in depositions, discovery, trial preparation, and court appearances.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California (Active CA State Bar Membership).

Skills:
