Patent Agent needed for Atlanta office

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Patent Agent to specialize in intellectual property law, focusing on patent prosecution. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Computer Engineering (CE).

Duties:

• Assist attorneys with preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Conduct patent searches and analyses to assess patentability and infringement issues.
• Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand inventions and draft patent applications.
• Review and analyze technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with patent portfolio management and strategy development.
• Communicate with clients regarding patent matters and provide updates on patent prosecution progress.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Computer Engineering (CE).
