Senior Litigation Attorney

Duties:

• Oversee all stages of personal injury cases from initiation to resolution.
• Conduct client consultations and manage case filings.
• Draft and respond to written discovery requests.
• Schedule and lead depositions for fact witnesses and experts.
• Retain and consult with necessary expert witnesses.
• Represent clients in court appearances, including hearings, motions, and mediations.
• Lead settlement negotiations and mediation sessions.
• Prepare for and conduct jury trials, serving as lead counsel.
• Draft and file post-trial motions as needed.
• Participate in regular case audits and litigation team meetings.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida, in good standing.
• Extensive experience as a personal injury litigator.
• Proven track record of success, including at least two first-chair jury trials.
• Ability to independently manage a large and active caseload from filing through verdict.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing legal support staff.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Florida.
• Additional certifications in personal injury law or related fields are a plus.
