We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join a dynamic law firm in Menlo Park, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in transactional and/or litigation work, and a strong interest in civil litigation, real estate, and land use.

Duties:

  • Support the real estate and land use, civil litigation, and business transactional practice groups.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including contracts and briefs.
  • Assist in the discovery process, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transactions and project entitlements.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop effective legal strategies.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in transactional and/or litigation work.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • A desire to build an individual practice.
  • Experience or strong interest in civil litigation and real estate law.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
