This position is designed for an attorney with a strong background in mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions. Duties:

  • Draft, negotiate, and analyze contracts and agreements for mergers, acquisitions, and private equity deals.
  • Lead and participate in due diligence processes to identify legal and regulatory risks.
  • Counsel clients on deal structures, compliance with corporate governance standards, and transaction strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate successful deal execution.
  • Monitor and manage transaction timelines to ensure efficient completion of projects.
  • Stay informed on legal and regulatory developments affecting mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in corporate law with a focus on M&A and private equity.
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional legal drafting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with a client-oriented approach to service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Texas Bar or eligibility for prompt admission.

Skills:

  • Expertise in transactional law, including corporate structuring and regulatory compliance.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
