Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A leading New York boutique real estate law firm is seeking multiple litigation attorneys to join its Litigation Practice Group. The firm is looking for attorney to handle complex real estate litigation cases. Attorneys will be responsible for all pre-trial aspects, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and depositions. Location:

Duties:

• Handle all pre-trial aspects of real estate litigation, including pleadings, discovery, researching and drafting motions, and conducting depositions.
• Appear in court to argue motions and represent clients in various proceedings.
• For junior attorneys, the opportunity to make strategic decisions and gain substantial court experience and client interaction from day one.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and ensure the success of legal proceedings.
• Participate in trial preparation, including preparing witnesses and exhibits.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant litigation experience.
• Experience with real estate litigation preferred.
• Ability to handle all pre-trial aspects of complex litigation.
• Experience in state Supreme Court or federal court litigation.
• Confidence to appear in court and argue motions.
• Strong writing and research skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle client relationships.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in New York.

Skills:

• Strong litigation experience from pleadings to trial.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle complex cases independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with real estate law is a plus.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Ability to appear and argue motions in court with confidence.
