Duties

• Conduct client consultations with professionalism and empathy, building trust and confidence.

• Assess case merits, develop legal strategies, and communicate claim status with clients and insurance providers.

• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

• Prepare for and conduct trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.

• Engage in negotiations to achieve favorable settlements.

• Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience.

• Proven 1st chair trial experience.

• Strong negotiation and case evaluation skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with a legal team.

• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the South Carolina Bar and in good standing.
