Corporate Real Estate Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Corporate Real Estate Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of law firm corporate transactional experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in real estate joint ventures, though experience in private mergers and acquisitions or private investment funds will also be considered.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to corporate real estate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate various agreements, including purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents.
• Provide legal advice and support on real estate joint ventures and related corporate matters.
• Assist in due diligence investigations and transaction closings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar (active and in good standing).
• 4-6 years of experience in a law firm environment, focusing on corporate transactional work.
• Experience with real estate joint ventures is preferred; experience in private mergers and acquisitions or private investment funds will be considered.
• Strong understanding of corporate and real estate law principles.
• Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
