Duties

• Participate in complex commercial and patent litigation from early strategy through trial

• Focus on high-level case strategy, expert discovery, and key depositions

• Collaborate with co-counsel at large national law firms

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Assist in managing expert teams and scientific components of litigation

• Contribute to a collaborative and intellectually rigorous litigation team

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on complex or high-stakes matters

• Demonstrated ability to handle advanced litigation tasks, including discovery, motion practice, and trial prep

• Interest in alternative billing structures and efficiency-focused litigation practices

• High level of motivation, accountability, and commitment to team success

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier, ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Illinois (or eligibility to waive in)
