Duties

• Advocate for clients in and out of court, handling various aspects of the legal collection process.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and self-represented parties to resolve disputes and negotiate settlements.
• Draft and review legal briefs, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Document case activities following firm and client guidelines.
• Conduct legal research, interpret laws and regulations, and draft opinions for review by senior attorneys.
• Represent clients at court hearings and manage litigation from start to finish.
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication.
• Stay informed on legal developments through continuing education, webinars, and seminars.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active, discipline-free license to practice law in California.
• Knowledge of civil litigation processes and consumer protection laws.
• Experience or strong interest in consumer collection litigation preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and utilize shared resources.
• Superior time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
