An established law firm focusing on labor and employment law is seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. This role is primarily focused on representing employees in legal matters including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage-related claims. Duties

  • Conduct intake interviews with prospective clients to evaluate claims and provide consultations

  • Draft administrative complaints, pleadings, court filings, and legal correspondence

  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and negotiations

  • Perform legal research and write memos supporting case strategies

  • Manage assigned litigation cases under partner supervision, ensuring timelines and updates are maintained

  • Participate in settlement discussions and opposing counsel communications

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a remote work environment

  • Support client development and networking activities as needed

Requirements

  • UBE score of at least 270 required

  • Candidates awaiting recent UBE results may be considered with a law school GPA of 3.5+

  • Must be admitted to the bar or willing to pursue admission in a New England state or New York (firm support provided)

  • Must have a private, professional, and quiet home office setup for remote work

  • Must include law school and undergraduate GPA in application

  • Must list all bar exams taken and corresponding UBE scores

  • Relocation plans must be explained in cover letter if currently outside eligible states

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active bar admission preferred

  • UBE score of 270 or higher (required)
