A law firm in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Construction Law and Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of litigation and transactional experience in construction law. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic credentials, excellent communication and writing skills, a commitment to high ethical standards, motivation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Preference will be given to candidates with an undergraduate degree and/or significant prior work experience in civil engineering, architecture, or construction management. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in Utah or be willing to become a member of the Utah Bar.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in construction law cases, including litigation and transactional matters.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on construction-related issues.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on construction laws and regulations.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to construction projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to negotiate settlements or resolutions.
  • Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation and transactional experience in construction law.
  • Good academic credentials from a reputable law school.
