Location:

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies
• Draft pleadings, motions, and responses to discovery
• Prepare case evaluations, correspondence, and legal briefs
• Take and defend depositions
• Represent clients at court appearances
• Assist with trial preparation and strategy
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case management and strategy development

Requirements:

• Member of the California State Bar in good standing
• Civil litigation experience (preferably in public entity defense, employment law, or civil rights)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Civil litigation experience, including preparing legal documents, depositions, and case evaluations
