Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a highly motivated and skilled Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of personal injury law experience and a strong background in personal injury litigation, including pre-litigation case management and discovery. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, preparing legal documents, taking and defending depositions, and negotiating settlements. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of various types of personal injury matters in litigation.
• Prepare and draft legal documents for clients, including filing complaints.
• Draft meet and confer letters to opposing counsel regarding discovery disputes.
• Prepare clients for depositions and other applicable hearings.
• Take and defend depositions throughout litigation.
• Prepare and respond to motions, including dispositive motions.
• Attend court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements for personal injury cases.
• Direct and support investigations on all assigned litigation matters.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of Personal Injury Law experience.
• Strong background in Personal Injury Litigation, including pre-litigation case management and discovery.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Juris Doctor degree.
• Current good standing with the CA State Bar is required.
• Workers' Compensation experience is a plus.
