Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs to support litigation efforts

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations

• Prepare for trial by analyzing case files, organizing evidence, and developing strategy

• Provide legal advice and updates to clients throughout the litigation process

• Negotiate settlements and dispute resolutions in clients’ best interests

• Maintain knowledge of laws and legal precedents relevant to business, trademark, and probate law

• Use legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support arguments and case preparation

Requirements

• Proven litigation experience with a focus on personal injury

• Ability to manage case files from inception to resolution

• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities

• Ability to work independently under deadlines in a high-volume environment

• Strong client communication and advocacy skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in California
