The Finance Associate Attorney will primarily focus on handling debt finance transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, leverage loans, and revolving credit facilities. Duties:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to structure and negotiate debt finance transactions.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as credit agreements, loan documents, and security agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and assess risks associated with financing transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on regulatory compliance issues related to finance transactions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financing strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in financial regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience working on debt finance transactions.
  • Strong understanding of syndicated credit facilities, leverage loans, and revolving credit facilities.
  • Experience with energy-related transactions is considered advantageous.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission.
