Duties:

  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, settlement conferences, and court proceedings.
  • Draft various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and supervising attorneys to understand case objectives and ensure alignment with client goals.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Analyze case law, statutes, regulations, and other legal documents to inform case strategy and decision-making.
  • Provide clear and concise communication with regulatory bodies, courts, clients, and other involved parties.
  • Identify and address complex legal issues using creativity, initiative, and sound judgment.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships and provide expert guidance throughout the litigation process.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the overall success of the firm.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of litigation experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful case management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active State Bar membership in good standing.
