Duties:

• Assist senior attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in court appearances and client meetings.
• Manage and track case progress, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative office culture.

Requirements:

• A valid Bar license is required.
• 1-3 years of litigation experience is preferred; recent graduates with strong academic credentials are encouraged to apply.
• Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Bar of New York State.

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal management software.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
