Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of general finance experience

A law firm in New York is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of general finance experience. The ideal candidate should have a high level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience. The role entails drafting and negotiating commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements, and other loan documents, as well as UCC experience and general corporate experience.

Duties:

• Draft and negotiate commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements, and other loan documents.
• Handle Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) matters.
• Provide general corporate legal support.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Assist with due diligence processes.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members on various legal matters.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of general finance experience.
• High level of academic achievement.
• Solid law firm experience preferred.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
