Duties:

  • Manage environmental due diligence, including investigation and selling or acquiring potentially contaminated properties.
  • Develop and execute legal strategies for clients involved in environmental disputes and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex environmental issues.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, briefs, and legal documents.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and administrative hearings related to environmental matters.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, clients, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Stay updated on current environmental laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in environmental law.
  • Significant experience in advising on environmental regulatory and enforcement matters.
  • Proven track record in managing environmental due diligence and contaminated property transactions.
  • High academic achievement and a strong understanding of environmental laws and regulations.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
