Job Overview:
A prominent law firm located in New York City is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney with expertise in complex litigation matters across various sectors including labor law, construction law, insurance, and personal injury. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic and skilled team handling high-stakes cases from inception to trial, with the opportunity to significantly impact both the firm and its clients.

Duties:

• Lead complex litigation cases from start to finish in the areas of labor law, premises liability, construction defects, and personal injury.
• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Manage discovery processes and conduct depositions.
• Perform in-depth legal research, analysis, and writing to support case strategies.
• Represent clients in both state and federal courts, focusing on New York Labor Law litigation matters.
• Provide expert legal counsel and ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction law, insurance law, labor law, and personal injury litigation.
• Admission to the New York Bar is required; New Jersey and/or Connecticut Bar admission is a plus.
• Proven ability to handle complex litigation matters from initiation through to trial.
• Experience in New York Labor Law litigation in both state and federal courts.
• Strong litigation, communication, and analytical skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
• Additional Bar admissions (NJ, CT) are beneficial but not mandatory.

• Ability to manage complex legal matters and work under pressure.
