Duties

  • Handle both litigation and transactional matters involving commercial finance, bankruptcy, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Represent clients in federal and state courts, including managing cases related to corporate reorganizations and disputes.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with discovery processes.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and settlement discussions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in all phases of client representation.
  • Continuously develop legal expertise, especially in commercial litigation and bankruptcy law.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, colleagues, and partners.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar admission or eligibility to sit for the February Bar exam.
  • Experience in commercial litigation, transactions, or bankruptcy law is preferred.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing with the ability to communicate complex legal issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in drafting legal documents and motions.
