Job Overview:

A distinguished law firm is seeking an Attorney Specialist to join its Asset Management and Investment Funds (AMIF) practice group. This position offers a permanent, non-partnership track opportunity for lawyers with extensive experience in mutual fund and ETF filings, fund launches, and compliance matters. The role involves providing critical support to attorneys in navigating complex regulatory requirements under the 1940 Act.

Location:

  • Miami, FL

Duties:

  • Assist with mutual fund and ETF filings and new fund launches.
  • Review and update mutual fund registration statements and shareholder reports.
  • Prepare and review materials for mutual fund board meetings.
  • Conduct research and analysis on legal matters arising under the 1940 Act.
  • Collaborate with partners and associates on client relationships.

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of direct experience in asset management and investment funds law.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction of practice.

Skills:
