Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience drafting litigation documents, providing legal counsel, and managing complex cases.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Effectively communicating, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Producing deliverables, answering phone calls, and replying to correspondence promptly.
• Providing timely, accurate, and high-quality work product.
• Meeting deadlines, managing expectations, and performing required duties efficiently.
• Fostering positive work relationships and complying with firm policies and practices.
• Engaging in both physical and sedentary activities, including extensive computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as necessary.
• Performing other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney.
• Proven experience in drafting litigation documents such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Sound business judgment and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently as required.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and problem-solving.
• Conceptual thinking and the ability to influence others persuasively.
• Effective management skills, including strong project management abilities.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required.
