Duties and Responsibilities

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing parties to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Review and analyze medical records, legal documents, and other pertinent information to build compelling cases.
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials, representing clients in legal proceedings.
  • Develop case strategies and provide tailored legal advice to clients.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure effective case management and client service.
  • Manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality in handling client matters.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or North Dakota.
  • Previous experience working in a professional office environment, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with comfort speaking on the phone.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to the office and meeting clients as needed.
