This role requires a legal professional with a passion for advocating on behalf of personal injury clients, along with strong trial and litigation experience. The attorney will be responsible for managing cases from inception through trial, collaborating with an experienced team, and utilizing innovative strategies to secure successful outcomes for clients.

Duties:

  • Handle personal injury cases from intake through settlement or jury verdict.
  • Communicate with clients, providing updates and legal advice throughout the case.
  • Take and defend depositions effectively.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other case-related documents.
  • Lead mediations and negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Develop and implement case strategies based on evidence and legal precedents.
  • Represent clients in court, managing all aspects of trial proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
  • Proven track record of successful first-chair jury trial experience.
  • Active and in good standing with the Alabama State Bar.
  • Demonstrated experience drafting and responding to motions.
  • Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Alabama State Bar.

Certifications:
