Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in privacy and cybersecurity law, either in a law firm or in-house setting, or relevant litigation experience focusing on privacy and cybersecurity breach response.
  • Demonstrated experience advising on privacy and security obligations, data security incident notification, and defending regulatory investigations.
  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage a complex workload effectively.
  • Strong awareness of data privacy and security laws.
  • Effective and persuasive writing and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues.
  • Motivation to learn and understand technology and forensic investigations.
  • Proven ability to interact with technically skilled individuals and distill critical issues and findings for non-technical business team members.
  • Professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary for a collaborative team environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania or willingness to obtain.
