A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Litigation Department in the San Diego Metropolitan Area, with a primary focus on Business Litigation. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of litigation experience and an active California Bar license. The firm offers flexibility regarding a hybrid work schedule.

Duties

• Handle a diverse range of business litigation matters, providing comprehensive legal support to clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft various litigation documents, including motions and pleadings.
• Argue motions in court and represent clients during depositions and trials.
• Collaborate closely with experienced litigation partners to develop case strategies.
• Maintain meticulous records and manage case files efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients and keep them informed about case developments.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4-7 years of relevant litigation practice experience.
• Active membership in the California Bar Association.
• Strong writing and persuasive speaking abilities.
• Exceptional research skills and attention to detail.
• Highly organized with a solid work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license is required.
