Job Title: IP Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a talented IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. This position will involve managing complex patent litigation cases, from briefing and motions to depositions and trial proceedings. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities and experience in supervising junior associates or paralegals while maintaining the ability to work independently on all aspects of case management.

Duties:

• Led and managed intellectual property litigation cases, including briefing, motions practice, depositions, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with experts and legal teams to develop case strategies and conduct discovery
• Represent clients in PTAB or trial proceedings
• Oversee and guide junior associates and paralegals in case management and legal tasks
• Prepare and review written documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
• Engage in client communications, providing updates and legal advice
• Maintain excellent organization and attention to detail in case management

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in IP litigation, with demonstrated proficiency in case management and motion practice
• Strong background in patent litigation, including experience with PTAB or trial proceedings
• Proven ability to supervise junior staff, including associates and paralegals
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
• Must be licensed to practice law in Delaware or have the ability to become licensed shortly after employment

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admittance to the USPTO is preferred
• Licensed to practice law in Delaware (or ability to be admitted to Delaware bar promptly)
