The role involves advocating for clients, managing case files from start to finish, and collaborating with a team of legal professionals to ensure effective representation.

Job Details:

  • Advocate for clients seeking justice and compensation for personal injuries.
  • Manage personal injury case files independently, from initial client intake to case resolution.
  • Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance adjusters, and medical providers to gather necessary information.
  • Review, draft, and modify legal documents including motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, and memorandums.
  • Delegate tasks and oversee a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretaries.
  • Represent clients at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Maintain high standards of professional conduct, ethics, and client confidentiality.
  • Utilize superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills in all aspects of case management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and procedural requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from accredited institutions.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in personal injury litigation, with proven trial case experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of personal injury law, tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice.
  • Excellent credentials and a track record of successful case outcomes.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and legal software.
