Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm located in Dallas, Texas is seeking a highly skilled and motivated attorney to join their Real Estate Equity team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial real estate equity transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. The firm is looking for an attorney with 4-6 years of experience and a strong background in real estate law.

Duties:

• Advise clients on complex commercial real estate equity transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents, including purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and loan documents
• Collaborate with clients, partners, and senior associates to develop legal strategies
• Conduct legal research and due diligence for real estate transactions
• Manage transactions from inception to completion, ensuring all aspects are compliant with applicable laws
• Provide expert legal advice on real estate financing, ownership structures, and related matters
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and business stakeholders
• Assist in mentoring and training junior associates and paralegals

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in commercial real estate equity transactions
• Expertise in joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
• Proven ability to handle complex legal transactions and work with senior attorneys and clients
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• In-depth understanding of real estate law, including federal and state regulations

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas

Skills:

• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
